Ashley Greene Celebrates Her Maxim Cover

The 22-year-old actress later attended Rihanna’s album release party at Juliet’s supperclub.
Ashley recently revealed how she got in shape for her latest movie New Moon. “It was really easy,” she told US Weekly. “We were working 12 hours a day, so it didn’t leave too much time to eat.”


“We had a personal trainer and then we also had fight training,” she added. “It was a good four hours a day of training.” Currently, she does Pilates six days a week to stay fit.

George Clooney Thinks He Knows Something About Dating

As he should!  He's had centuries of practice.

Anna Kendrick, George Clooney's costar in his most recent film Up in the Air, has spilled to People that Mr. Clooney had plenty of advice on the subject.

"He had rules for me about dating and stuff. It was really sweet," said the 24-year-old. "It's funny, actually. A friend of his that was his age [48] was dating somebody younger than me. He thought that was fine. I was like, 'What would you say to me if I were dating somebody your age?' He said, 'Oh no, absolutely not.' "

A little hypocritical George, but if anyone has the face to pull it off, it's you.  Hell, with a face like that, he could kick puppies and yell at my grammy and I'd still forgive him.

Freida Pinto & Dev Patel: San Diego Zoo Sweethearts

Slumdog Millionaire couple Freida Pinto and Dev Patel meet a prickly new pal at San Diego Zoo earlier this month in California.

Freida, 25, and Dev, 19, were introduced to a prehensile-tailed porcupine called Icana and Diego the ocelot, an endangered species of cat from South America often hunted for their beautiful fur.


“He is so soft and cute,” Freida was overheard saying back in her hotel lobby.

Gwyneth Paltrow Celebrates Thanksgiving in Morocco

Gwyneth Paltrow is peach perfect at the re-opening of the Mamounia hotel on Thursday (November 26) in Marrakech, Morocco.

The 37-year-old actress told People why she’s in town: “My mom is in Los Angeles, my brother is in New York, and I am in London, but it’s not a holiday there. My kids don’t get off from school, so I figured I would take off for a few days, and it’s wonderful to be here. It’s my first time in Morocco.”


Gwyn’s latest GOOP newsletter is about being accepted by your parents. She wrote, “I dedicate this Thanksgiving letter, on parental acceptance, to my father, who would have been 66 today. Mila is currently working with Darren on their new movie Black Swan. Looks like they might be doing a little research since the new thriller centers on the relationship between a veteran ballet dancer and her rival.


Black Swan is expected to hit theaters in 2010.

Lady Gaga: ‘The Fame Monster’

Lady Gaga signs autographs for her fans to promote “The Fame Monster,” at Best Buy in West Hollywood on Monday (November 23).

The 23-year-old entertainer reportedly spent $1,000 on buying pizzas for all the fans who’d waited overnight at the Best Buy signing. She Tweeted, “Sending all my little monsters little pizzas for waiting all night for me at best buy. I hope you’re hungry…eat up I love u!”

January Jones hits the red carpet in a gorgeous Gucci dress and Dolce shoes at the GQ “Men of the Year” Party at L.A.’s Chateau Marmont on Wednesday (November 18).

At the party, the 31-year-old Mad Men actress was seen hanging out with girlfriends all night. No boys allowed!

Kristen Bell shows off a stunning low-backed dress by Tibi at the Maxim and Ubisoft launch of Assassin’s Creed II at West Hollywood’s Voyeur on Wednesday (November 11).

The 29-year-old actress, who accessorized with Christian Louboutin pumps, recently began filming Burlesque with Christina Aguilera, Cher, Cam Gigandet and Julianne Hough. “My character is fun and sexy but not a stripper,” Kristen told E! “There is no nudity, and there are no pasties and G-strings.”

“It’s very artistic burlesque,” she said. “Burlesque is a tease. It’s not meant to really give that much away because that wouldn’t be considered a tease. It would be considered giving away the goods.”

Ashley Greene to Jared Followill: Happy Birthday!

Twilight actress Ashley Greene (in D&G) hops into a cab with newly single Kings of Leon bassist Jared Followill after celebrating his 23rd birthday at NYC hotspot The Box on Thursday (November 19).

Staff from the box came out with sparklers and wished Jared a happy birthday. Also there to celebrate included Gossip Girl couple Ed Westwick and Jessica Szohr as well as Jared’s older brother Caleb Followill with model girlfriend Lily Aldridge.

Earlier in the evening at the same venue, The Cinema Society and D&G held the after-party for The Twilight Saga: New Moon.

‘New Moon’ Eclipses Box Office Record

The Twilight Saga: New Moon pulled in a massive $26.3 million at North American box offices in midnight showings on Thursday (November 19).

The previous record was set by Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, which made $22.2 million in midnight screenings when it was released this past July.
The vampire romance movie will rake in a total of around $100 million in its opening weekend. That’s bloody amazing!

Leighton Meester and pop icon Cyndi Lauper hit the stage at the 2009 mtvU Woodie Awards on Wednesday (November 18) to present the award for Woodie of the Year at the Roseland Ballroom in New York City.

The 23-year old Gossip Girl actress opened the envelope and announced that Kings of Leon took home the top award! Although the band wasn’t in attendance, we’re sure they’re honored.

Other nominees for Woodie of the Year included Asher Roth, Drake, MGMT and Silversun Pickups.

Lady Gaga plays a pink piano at the MOCA New 30th Anniversary Gala at L.A.’s Museum of Contemporary Art on Saturday (November 14).

The 23-year-old “Bad Romance” singer performed her new song “Speechless” alongside Italian artist Francesco Vezzoli while members of Russia’s Bolshoi ballet troupe danced. “For me, art is a lie, and the artists are there to create lies we kill when we make it true,” Lady Gaga told the Wall Street Journal. “Francesco and I were like warriors on stage, trying to make a true moment.” “Art is life, life is art,” Gaga shared. “The question is, what came first?”
